Samantha N. Whyte is a civil trial attorney, bringing experience from both criminal prosecution and civil litigation to her practice. She focuses on defending individuals, professionals, and businesses in civil matters throughout Florida, with an emphasis on motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and other insurance-related disputes.

 

Samantha’s litigation background includes extensive case management, motion practice, and trials. Before joining Alexander Trial Law, she served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. She also previously practiced as an attorney at a multi-office, statewide, insurance defense law firm, where she obtained invaluable experience.

 

Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. While in law school, she gained valuable experience through internships at both the state and federal levels, including serving as a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Offices for Florida’s Fourth and Eighth Judicial Circuits, and as an Intern with the Office of the Federal Defender for the Middle District of Florida. She also served as the head of the University of Florida Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, leading arbitration and negotiation teams in competition.

 

Before law school, Samantha graduated with honors from the University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

 

Outside the office, Samantha enjoys spending time with her rescue pets, hiking, and watching reality television.
